Spring weather is just around the corner, we did just spring forward, and it is time to start thinking about your outdoor spaces.
Nothing is worse than a splintered deck with warping boards. Now is the perfect time to replace boards that are bad and refinish your deck for the summer, and if you can afford it, high-performance composites resist fading, staining, scratching and mold....they won't rot, warp, crack or splinter. They are hassle free to enjoy right away year after year, a quick power wash and you are ready for your first party.
I like to maximize the flow of my space and create different entertainment zones. Areas for cooking, eating and socializing. Trellises and potted plants are always nice and help separate space as well.
We just added a roof to our back deck and LED lighting and fans were a must. The back deck went from a deck to an extension of our living space. Consider adding LED lighting to railings and stairs as well, this not only adds atmosphere, but also security and safety.
Finish off your spring cleaning with built-in storage or add a few storage boxes to keep supplies organized and at-hand, ours double as tables around the deck. Add your personal style with accessories that give your space the look and feel of an outdoor great room with your personality.
Let me know if you need professional help with your space or if I can help in any way.
